F, 40th on 7 Sep 1862 in Alex., VA. On 28 November 1863, as resident of Pleasant Springs, Wisconsin, he enlisted in Co. A, 3rd Cavalry Regiment, Wisconsin and transferred 23 March 1865 from Co. Brooklyn Eagle, 12 August 1902, page 10 - Obituary - Long Island - Mrs. Sarah Larrabee Oyster Bay, L.I., August 12 - The funeral of Mrs. Sarah Larrabee, mother of Miss Annie Larrabee, the postmistress of this place, occurred yesterday afternoon, the Rev. Alexander G. Russell of the Presbyterian Church officiating. Mrs. Larrabee was born in East Norwich in 1832. She was the daughter of John L. Van Wicklen of that place. She married Edmund W. Larrabee, now deceased. She leaves two children, Miss Annie Larrabee and William Larrabee, both of Oyster Bay, and three sisters, Mrs. Thomas Marthing of East Norwich, Mrs. Emma Bennett of Jamaica, and Mrs. William Chapman of Morris Park. The Interment was in a private cemetery in this village.
